In the past, one of a farmer's most daunting uncertainties was the temperamentality of nature, but these days uncertainty weighs much heavier. However, hope lies on the horizon when a community stands together.Â
At Aucor and AFGRI Equipment we believe that this community also includes businesses and that we have a social responsibility to our farmers – because our farmers feed us. That is why we present a comprehensive, irresistible agricultural auction to our nation's pride.Â
Aucor is Southern Africa’s favourite auctioneer operating within various sectors in the industry. We offer the foremost service for the exchange of goods for optimal value. Aucor serves as the middleman between sellers and buyers who wish to exchange goods without the intimidation of an auctioneer. In line with Aucor’s principles regarding quality service, AFGRI also delivers financial and strategic support services to the agricultural and corporate sector. Their services extend to retail sales of equipment and implements (specifically under the John Deere brand). These operations take place at 23 of their branches nationwide. In addition to their remarkable footprint in South Africa, AFGRI Equipment’s operations can also be found in Sub-Saharan Africa and Western Australia.
For Aucor and AFGRI Equipment quality, at an honest price, makes sense. Similarly, our decision to enter a partnership to establish an agricultural auction, for a community who seek value for the long-term, also made sense. We know the financial hardships our farmers face and we would like to help by limiting costs wherever possible. Our solution, an agricultural auction of the second hand, but not the second class because we know a farmer takes pride in looking after his tools – for a preloved machine forms part of a much larger process. Before each asset steps foot in front of the auctioneer, it is tested and assessed by qualified technicians. Aucor ensures any known bump, scratch or error is disclosed to the buyer before the auction and transaction can commence. It is, however, the buyer’s responsibility to take note of this because every item is sold free of duty to repair. If there is still some hesitation, rest assured because AFGRI Equipment offers world-class technical services, transport of machines and implements (at a fee), as well as set-up services (gratis) to auction buyers within the AFGRI Equipment service area.
With the current shortage of equipment and implements in the agricultural industry, the option of purchasing secondhand items shines a light at the end of a tunnel because it is a viable deal to sow in order to reap what you grow. Numerous assets, varying in type, will be made available at this auction. Some of the assets available for bidding include: John Deere, Landini and CASE Tractors; Lemken and Amazone Sprayers, as well assorted implements used in the development and preparation of land and harvesting. In addition, separate items are also available for the general physical maintenance of the farm and its operations.
It is our hope that this prospective partnership between Aucor and AFGRI Equipment will provide a solution to our farmers, especially under the current circumstances, and that it may offer a boost to those who are struggling with the current shortage of equipment, or perhaps even just those who aim to keep their good deal a long-term one.
